Sobre o evento
World Mission Day is celebrated on the third Sunday in October , in the month of missions.
This day of prayer and evangelization of peoples is intended to encourage missionary cooperation throughout the world and to thank missionaries for their contribution to building a better world.
World Mission Day, created in 1926 by Pope Pius XI, is celebrated annually in all countries where there are Catholics committed to building a more just, dignified and rewarding world, where everyone has what they need to live.
It is the day of the year to reflect on the urgency and duty to help others. Missionary cooperation can be carried out through prayer, sacrifice and witness of life, through material help for missionary projects, or by making yourself available to serve in missions .
